Vice President & Controller
Kurt Forkheim, CPA - VP and Controller – Experienced finance and accounting executive with over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on oilfield services. Kurt joined the ClearWell team in January 2022 as their VP and Controller where he manages the company’s accounting, treasury, tax, and IT functions. Previously, he served as the SVP and Controller for Pioneer Energy Services for 17 years where he oversaw their accounting department and maintained compliance with Securities and Exchange reporting and internal controls requirements. Kurt also held the lead accounting and finance role for numerous capital market transactions, acquisitions, divestitures, as well as international expansion. Pioneer’s Well Servicing business was sold to ClearWell Dynamics in January 2022. Kurt’s career began in 1993 at Arthur Andersen LLP in their Assurance and Business Advisory group and continued working in public accounting through 2005. Kurt is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
